Kunstverein Aughrim specially commissioned two, hand-finished slip-cast porcelain editions of 24 vessels to mark the artists Summer Preview event.
Salaman’s Potato Cup is named after potato scholar Redcliffe N. Salaman, author of ‘The History and Social Influence of the Potato in the Course of Irish History’ presented as a lecture at UCD in 1943. Salaman’s Potato Cup is packaged and presented alongside a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.
Materials: hand-painted Parian porcelain, stain, hand-dipped clear glaze

Silke’s Potato Cup: Specially commissioned slip-cast porcelain cup, produced in 2023 as part of a hand-finished edition of 24 vessels, named after agricultural inspector JJ Silke, subject of O’Mahony’s film and archival installation, Trial and Error, who established and developed ta thriving seed potato industry in Donegal. Silke’s Potato Cup is packaged and presented alongside a certificate of authenticity, signed by the artist.
